In her work Layla Anne Kurz follows a strict rule of book keeping, numbering, signing and authenticating her prints using certificates. All of her commercially available fine art prints are numbered, signed and delivered with a certificate that lists all information on the print like size, material, amount of prints made, amount of artist prints remaining with the artist, etc.
She will never produce new editions of commercially available fine art prints but she keeps the right to produce exhibition prints in different sizes and materials for exhibitions. These exhibition prints are marked with “EP”, not signed, not numbered and not certified. These prints have to be sent back for storage or destruction to Layla Anne Kurz. Only up to three of these unnumbered “exhibition prints” may exist at any given time. She will never make these prints publicly available.
This disclaimer is only in regards to her commercially available fine art prints. Process prints, exhibition prints, her books and advertising materials (paid or free) like postcards, posters, etc. can have images on or in them that are or were available as limited edition fine art print. They are not part of the limited edition.
